The point of view of this subject was very well thought out. You not only got close, but let the subject define the rest of the photo. The time of day for this image was an excellent choice as well. It makes it seem the crate has emotion. It is the object that has taken on the persona of the task itself. You placed it near the center, but not completely at this point. It made the image more interesting in imagining the breath this crate exhales as it watches the sun. Bringing the focus upfront, and not just on the crate, adds feeling to this scene. There is a setting, and everything else is in just enough focus so we know what it is and take in what is taking place. These are background elements that we already see with soft edges, and applying natures view with your own makes for an exciting piece.
